Davis Chai was appointed as Chief Technology Officer for Touch ‘n Go on 1 February 2021. Prior to that, he was Head, Tech & Data for Group, Ventures & Partnerships in CIMB and before that, Architecture Lead for AIGGS (M) SB. His previous experiences also included the role of Regional Consulting Enterprise Architect for Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation and Architecture Services Manager in Computer Science Corp.

His prior roles were mainly leadership roles with responsibilities over key assignments (account portfolios) and allocated technology resources. He was responsible in delivering technology blueprint; making strategic decisions on technology capability investments; plan, build and operate technology services; ensuring and enforcing technology standards per regulatory and strict governance requirements were met.

Davis brings over 20 years of experience mainly in the FSI sector. This includes both banks and insurance companies from the wider APAC region (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia & Philippines). In the earlier years of his career, he was an engineer working on carrier grade technologies such as ATM, frame relay and IPVPN.
