Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director of Touch ‘n Go Sdn. Bhd. on 1 November 2021. He is Chairman of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad, CIMB Bank Berhad and CIMB Bank PLC Cambodia. He is also Chairman of the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board and a member of the Financial Reporting Foundation. A Council Member of ACCA UK since 2013, he is a Fellow of ACCA and a Chartered Accountant with MIA. He obtained his MBA (Finance) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Prior to that, he was President of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Chairman of Media Prima Berhad and Independent Non-Executive Director for several companies.

He brings with him vast experience in the areas of leadership, management, finance and accounting which spans over 42 years, having started his career as a Trainee Accountant with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in 1979.

In January 1993, Datuk Mohd Nasir was appointed Financial Controller/Company Secretary of TNB’s subsidiary, Malaysia Transformer Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd., before being appointed CEO in June 1994. He joined Syarikat Permodalan Kebangsaan Berhad as CEO in January 2000. On 1 June 2001, he was appointed CEO of Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (PUNB), a position he held until his retirement on 1 June 2011.​​​​​​​

Datuk Mohd Nasir also currently holds directorships in Prokhas Sdn Bhd, CIMB EOP Management Sdn. Bhd., Perdana Leadership Foundation and is a Trustee of Yayasan Canselor UNITEN and CIMB Foundation.
